You can reach the world famous 10,500-hectare Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve in a 15-minute walk, and The Santa Elena Reserve is just a short drive. From this area on clear days you can observe the Arenal Volcano and the Golf of Nicoya all way to the Pacific Ocean.
