The Restaurant José Castulo Zeledón
In the morning when the forest starts to wake up, the visitors can have their breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant, with a view to the Sarapiquí river and the canopy of the Tirimbina Reserve. Every day the chef creates delicious meals with fresh ingredients from the own plantations and garden like pineapple, bananas, oranges, and palmito. Antique artefacts of the 19th century remind the visitor of the times when Anastasio Alfaro and his explorer friends got together to discuss the results of their labour along with their favourite drink in a place like this.
