You will stop at a place where an indigenous potter will show you the process of how these people maintain the tradition of their art since many generations. Please take the time to visit the many other potters. The black items are more difficult to make and therefore a little more expensive like the rest. We recommend to just buy them for decoration purposes.

Nicaragua, Masaya Volcano, Granada City Tour
On the way to San Jorge you'll see the Laguna de Apoyo, visit the Indian market Masaya and the impressive crater of the active volcano Masaya. From there you'll reach Granada. On the way home you'll be driving through Rivas.
Oropendola Waterfall Rincón de la Vieja Tour
You'll receive your horse at the stables of the hotel Guachipelín. From there is goes up almost to the entrance of the National park Rincón de la Vieja. There you leave the horse for a short hike down to the bottom of the waterfalls. If you like you can take a dip into the crystal-clear water there. Back to the hotel again it is on your horse.

Volcanic Mud-Bath near Rincón de la Vieja
On horseback you'll reach the hot mud-holes of the active volcano Rincón de la Vieja. There tie down your horse and proceed to a place where you can change cloth, take a steam sauna to open the pores and hopefully you come with a partner that will apply some of the fresh mud all over you.
Waterfall Hike and Volcanic Mud Bath at Rincón de la Vieja
Get your horse at the stables of the hotel Guachipelín. Almost at the entrance of the National Park Rincón de La Vieja leave the horse for a short hike down to the bottom of the waterfalls. Proceed to a place where you can apply some of the fresh volcanic mud all over you. Then jump into a pool to wash it off again.
White Sand Islands Tour
This tour starts right at the beach of Playas del Coco. In a double-decker boat you'll ride several islands. You'll reach a coral reef island where you'll be able to do some snorkeling only 6 feet deep. On another lonely island you can explore several caves carved out of the rock by the waves, and have a delicious BBQ lunch. After lunch you'll continue to a mangrove.
White Water River Tubing
If you're an Adrenalin junkie and don't mind cold water, this tour is for you. Ride on a horse for one hour to the starting point, then for over one hour down a white water cañon on a large rubber-tube. My personal recommendation for this crazy tour is that you should at least know how to swim, you should feel comfortable with water, close your mouth when you're under water and it helps if you keep the shoes on.
