Slowly up and fast down
This tour is actually two tours in one: First you take a silent ride up where you will be able to observe and take pictures of the giant trees of the rainforest and its hanging gardens. You will realize how important it is to preserve this wonderful world of plants and animals, many still undiscovered by man and hidden away in this most complex ecological communities.
Then it goes down in a zigzag form on a secure system of trails and zip lines, that offer visitor the opportunity to observe and appreciate the nature from different vantage point. SKY TREK is similar to other canopy tours in Costa Rica, but incorporates some significant differences, such as being of larger scale, metal platforms are mesh-covered and have steel rails which prevent falling or sliding. A total of 3km of cables have an individual length from 40m to 750m each. There are two observation platforms with breathtaking panoramic views. The tour lasts about two and a half hours.
