Macadam's, Art, and Canopies
After a beautiful drive through the mountains of Guanacaste (breakfast on the way is optional) you'll reach the large farm called Finca La Anita. A informative hike through the woods is followed by a tractor ride into fields. A demonstration how to grow and collect macadam's and palm hearts is followed by a delicious lunch and samples of the nuts.
From there you'll drive on to the Miravalles Canopy Tour. On the way there you'll stop at a well known art gallery, and wood-shop where they produce and show beautiful pieces of wood-craft and other sculptures. After the zip-ride on cables through the canopy you'll be driven back to Liberia.
