Blue - Sky-Blue Water
After a typical breakfast on the way to Rio Celeste, you'll arrive at the Tenorio Volcano National Park, the 5 miles hike of about 4 hours through the tropical rain forest begins. When you'll get to "Los Teñideros" of the Rio Celeste, you'll see the site where two small streams of crystalline water come together and form the sky blue color that gives the river its name.
Walking back on the trails, loaded with the wonders of nature, you'll reach "OLLAS" -- openings in the earth where we can excavate healing mud's, take a mud bath, and a dip in the natural hot springs, while observing the attractions of the Tenorio Volcano.
The hike continuous through the jungle to the volcano's furnace vents that expel gases of extreme high temperatures. On the way back you'll descend to the spectacular Rio Celeste waterfall whose color makes it one of a kind. Finally you can enjoy an exquisite lunch at the end of our journey.
