Forest Reserve Rubén Torres Rojas

Also known as Bosque de Prusia, it contains forest made up of conifer plantion and other exotic and native species of forest interest and by a native forest mainly consisting of oaks (Quercus spp.) and alder (Alnus acuminata). This reserve protects the upper basin of the Reventado river. It can be reached along an asphalted road via a turn-off from the road that leads to Irazú Volcano National Park.
