Cerro Nara Protection Zone

This is the most wersterly end of the La Amistad complex and corresponds to the tropical wet forest life zone. Due to the fact that this area conserves its forests in very good condition, there are plans to join it up to Manuel Antonio National Park via a biological corridor. Dirt roads from Quepos allow visitors to go a short way into this protection zone.
