Requirements to obtain the status of permanent investor resident through the Teak reforestation plantation Hacienda Oro Verde

1) A US$100,000.00 investment in the Teak reforestation project of Hacienda Oro Verde, S.A.

2) Photocopies of all pages of the applicants passport.

3) Certificates of birth, certificate of good conduct from local police department (where applicant has resided for past five years) and marriage certificate (if married), duly authenticated and translated into Spanish by the nearest Costa Rican Consulate to the place of issuance of those documents.

4) If the applicant has changed his birth nationality, a certificate of naturalization must be translated and presented.

5) Four recent front-view passport size (2.5 cm x 3 cm), photographs

6) The amount required to cover a return ticket by air to the investor's home country to be deposited in Costa Rica with the National Immigration Council, upon the approval of his / her residency.

7) Documents listed in 1- 5 must be presented to the closest Costa Rican Embassy or Consulate to where the applicant is making application. Upon their being forwarded to Costa Rica the legal department of Hacienda Oro Verde S.A. assists with expediting the processing.
