This region is identical with the province of Guanacaste and covers part of the Peninsula Nicoya . This area is famous for warm climate, dry summers and beautiful beaches. But the Northern Pacific Region stretches all way from Nicaragua along the Cordilleara of Guanacaste, with its spectacular string of dormant or gentle active volcanoes protected in National Parks. The famous dry forests and Coastlines are protected in the beautiful and historic Santa Rosa National Park.
