Identification:

Large white bird with black on wings and black bar on tail; yellow legs; underside of wing in flight is white with black edge; to 58cm (23in). (Gavilán Blanco).

Habitat:

Low and middle elevations, Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; found in forested and forest edge areas.
