Identification:

Mid-sized green parrot with red on face, including around eyes; white forehead; blue at top of head; red and blue patches on wings, seen mostly in flight; to 28cm (11in). (Loro Frentiblanco, Loro)

Habitat:

Dry forests of northern Pacific slope; found in tree canopy in wooded areas, forest edges, and in agricultural areas.

Found in the following Parks:

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (Fotos).
Palo Verde National Park.
Rincón de La Vieja National Park.
Santa Rosa Nacional Park.
