Identification:

A smaller opossum with webbed toes on rear feet; gray back with broad black / brown bands and a black stripe down its center; head blackish; cheeks and throat whitish; to 30cm (12in), plus tail. (Zorro de Agua).

Habitat:

Countrywide in both wet and dry forests, and cleared areas; swims; found in water or on ground along water courses.
