Mid-sized olive-colored bird with gray head; whitish throat; dark wings and dark, notched tail; dark bar through eye; yellow belly; reddish patch on top of head usually concealed; to 22cm (8.5in). (Pecho Amarillo, Tirano Tropical).
Low, middle, and some higher elevation sites. Caribbean and Pacific slopes; found in trees in open wooded areas, such as forest edges and tree plantations, and also in more open areas such as grasslands, pastures and other agricultural sites, and near human settlements.
