Identification:

Small green hummingbird with straight bill; brownish rump; blue/black, notched tail; 9 cm (3.5in). (Colibrí Coliazul).

Habitat:

Wooded regions of northern Pacific slope; found near flowers in forest interior and also at forest edge, tree plantations, gardens.

Found in the following Parks:

Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (Fotos).
Palo Verde National Park.
Rincón de La Vieja National Park.
Santa Rosa Nacional Park.
