Small gray-brown bird with swept-back, dark wings and shortish, notched tail; tawny or cinnamon throat and upperchest; whitish rump and belly; to 13 cm (5 in). (Golondrina Alirrasposa Sureña, Golondrina).


Low and middle elevations, Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; seen in the air over more open habitats - grasslands, scrub areas, pastures, roads, streams.
