Small yellow bird with blackish wings, black streaks on back, whitish throat, gray legs; female a bit duller than male; to 13 cm (5.25 in). (Tangara Dorada).
Low (occasionally), middle, and some higher elevation wet forests, Caribbean and Pacific slopes; found in tree canopy usually in more open settings such as forest edges, clearings, tree plantations.
