Identification:

Mid-sized blackish olive bird; black head with greenish olive top; greenish olive chest / belly; pale eyes; 18cm (7 in). (Tangara Carinegruzca).

Habitat:

Low elevations, Caribbean slope; found in trees, shrubs, and thickets in more open sites such as forest edges, tree plantations, vegetation along waterways.

Found in the following Parks:

Braulio Carrillo National Park.
Caño Negro National Wildlife Refuge.
La Selva Biological Reserve.
Tortuguero National Park.
