Smallish brown bird with white throat and chest; pale blue skin around eye; black in front of and behind eye; short tail; 14cm (5.5in). (Hormiguero Bicolor).
Low and middle elevation wet forest, Caribbean and southern Pacific slopes; found in forest interior or edge, on or near the ground, usually feeding by following army ants.
