Guide to base on Law 4812 July 28, 1972 as:

1. REQUEST TO D.I.S. (In Spanish, for Intelligence and Security Bureau). The Department of Retired and Earning Residents will give you a form you have to fill and hand in at the Police File (10th. Street, 20-22 Avenue) so you can be fingerprinted. You can also request at this moment for an INTERPOL study. A certified copy of all passport pages, 4 copies of the completed form, and 4 passport-sized photos should accompany the previous documents. All of this must he handed in at ICT 15 days before presenting any other documents. Without the DIS's study, however, no requests will be admitted. The applicant will be given a copy back so that he can verify the result of the investigation after the study was carried out.
