TEMPORARY IMPORTS

This system permits the importation of goods that are partially manufactured and the export of finished products to the North American market under the corresponding tariff agreement (TSUS). This temporary import system is very suitable in the cases of textiles and apparel, electronic equipment, etc.

Drawback activities have an excellent support in the country when contracting national firms which also enjoy some >of the following additional benefits:

100% exemption in importation dues on goods to be assembled, reconstructed, or repaired, or that are going to be incorporated in finished products that are going to be exported.

100% exemption in importations levies on equipment or parts for this manufacturing, goods that will be partially or totally used in manufacturing or assembling processes, samples, moulds, patterns, and similar articles.
