Information for Surfers:
This beach you'll reach with a rented boat from Playas del Coco. It offers an excellent, fast hollow right point break made famous in 'The Endless summer II' named after US Military General Oliver North, this is close to the area used to smuggle weapons to the Sandinistas in Nicaragua. Like most spots on the North Pacific it is best surfed on high tide. Avoid it during dead low tide.
