Puntarenas
When you arrive with the ferry from Puntarenas in Paquera and travel north in direction to Tambor, Cábano Montezuma, before getting to Cóbano on the left hand side you'll see a sign to Playa Cabuya. The deep waters are suitable for SCUBA diving. There is a 5 km long stretch of white sand beach with rocky promontories at each end. The waves are strong.
